Routes in Floyd County Maintained by the State

The City of Rome has received multiple calls regarding the pavement condition of Dean Ave. (SR 101) and residents have also voiced questions about the widening project underway on E 2nd at its junction with Shorter Ave (SR 20) near the levee, and at its junction with Martha Berry Blvd. (US 27).
As state routes, both locations are under the jurisdiction of the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and any questions or requests should be directed to GDOT.

City and County street issues should be directed to the respective offices below:
o Floyd County road issues should be reported to Floyd County Public Works at 706-236-2495.
o City streets should be reported to the Rome Street Department at 706-236-4585 or by using the MyRome app.

o   U.S. Route 27 - Martha Berry Hwy, Martha Berry Blvd, Turner McCall Blvd
o   U.S. Route 411
o   State Route 1
o   State Route 1 Loop - Veterans Memorial Hwy, Redmond Circle
o   State Route 20 - Shorter Avenue
o   State Route 53 - N. Broad St., New Calhoun Hwy
o   State Route 100 - Fosters Mill Rd.
o   State Route 101 - Dean Avenue, Rockmart Rd.
o   State Route 140 - Turkey Mountain Rd
o   State Route 156 - New Rosedale Rd. NE
o   State Route 293 - Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd NE, Kingston Hwy
