Our Mission

The Georgia's Rome Office of Tourism is the official destination and sports marketing organization of Rome and Floyd County, Ga. The mission of the tourism office is to strengthen the economic prosperity of the community though tourism development by attracting leisure travelers, conventions, meetings, film, sports and events. 

Department Overview

The tourism office serves as the destination marketing organization for the City of Rome, Cave Spring and Floyd County.  

This department is responsible for managing:

• Forum River Center 
• Georgia's Rome Welcome Center 
• Georgia's Rome Welcome Center - Downtown Location
• Ramblin' Rome Mobile Welcome Center
• Roman Rose Trolley
• Rome Sports
• Roman Chariot (free downtown transportation)
• Rome Area History Center
