$980,000 $897,117 $82,883 2024 Ridge Ferry Park Playground has been completed. Click here for photo.  We have received environmental clearance for the parking lot adjacent the dog park and it will be paved as soon as possible.  Parks Hoke Park basketball pavilion and restrooms have been completed. 
East Central Secondary Access Road $395,000 $399,644 ($4,644) 2021 Project completed. View video of the completed secondary access road.  
Public Works & Infrastructure Improvements $5,000,000 $3,635,546 $1,364,454 2026 Infrastructure Sidewalk: Completed 1.5 miles of new construction sidewalk on Lavendar Drive and Redmond Circle. Paving 91 roads with a total distance of 25.67 centerline mile (consisting of various road widths) completed. Roads paved include portions of the following: Morningside Drive, E. Main Street, South Broad, Lookout Circle, Silver Street, Lyons Drive, Westwillow Lane, Westbury Drive.
Public Safety Facility & Equipment Improvements $4,400,000 $4,381,916 $18,084 2024 Fire: New water tanker by Pierce Fire Apparatus, has been placed into service. Quint 3, click here for photo, delivered and in service. Fire tower (click here for photo) renovations completed in 2020. Burn building completed, click here for photo. A new fire maintenance shop has been purchased and outfitted with equipment using funds from 2013 and 2017 SPLOST.  PD: All 20 vehicles have been purchased and outfitting complete. 
North Broad Youth Center Recreation Renovations $600,000 $566,338 $33,662 2025 North STARS Parks was constructed and a ribbon cutting, and dedication was held on October 17, 2025.
5th Avenue River District/Arts District $2,000,000 $2,000,000 $0 2025 Project broken into three phases. Utility work to go from aerial to underground has been underway and all conduit has been installed. The improvements along West 3rd in front of the NOVA Project are complete and new pedestrian scale streetlights are being installed currently. Along fifth avenue, pedestrian crosswalks and pedestrian signals have been installed.
Barron Stadium Improvements $825,000 $811,860 $13,140 2020 The artificial turf has been replaced with FieldTurf, press box renovations (click here for photo), new scoreboard installed (photo), and repairs to the track have all been completed (photo). Projects are completed.
Water & Sewer $1,750,000 $0 $1,750,000 2025 Rosemont Park Maple Street Area Water - all work has been performed by city staff ($1 million savings) and projected to be completed by end of summer, 2026. Over 2,000 linear feet of 16" ductile iron has been installed.
Silver Creek Trail Extension to Lindale $590,000 $0 $590,000 2025 City and County will work together to coordinate the trail project.  The Rome Land Bank has donated a parcel adjacent to the trail on E. 20th for a future trailhead.   
Blueways/Waterways $3,121,362 $3,212,452 ($91,090) 2025 The ECO Center addition and renovation was completed, and a ribbon cutting was held on March 13, 2025
Real Estate & Infrastructure for Economic Development & Job Creation $1,555,000 $1,128,830 $426,170 2025 Work continues with the Rome Floyd County Development Authority to identify and acquire property for economic development.  NW Regional Hospital purchased in 2022 and extensive work to acquire EPA brownfield money for remediation and clean up has been on-going.
